DogsTrust Our local animal rescue charity "Animal Concern" (Their kennels are same address as Tarnside Cattery) are now closely related to DogsTrust. We neuter rescue animals using the DogsTrust scheme.
Vetaid VETAID works with agricultural communities in east Africa who depend on animals for their survival. Vet Nick Gray climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in 2006 in aid of Vetaid.
The British Hedgehog Preservation Society The British Hedgehog Preservation Society (BHPS) is a registered UK Charity dedicated to helping & protecting hedgehogs native to the UK (Erinaceus europaeus). They run a helpline with advice on caring & encouraging hedgehogs in the wild and in your garden.
