Orton and Pooley Bridge Farmers Markets Orton market is held on the second Saturday of every month from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm. Throughout the year. Whatever the weather. Pooley Bridge market is held on the last Sunday of the month (April to Sept) from 10.30am to 2.30pm

Holme Farm Ice Cream Holme Farm in Grange-over-Sands sells ice cream from a shop at the farm for 10 months of the year and supplies other local tourism based businesses, public houses and farm shops all year round.
