I qualified from Edinburgh University in 1995, and joined Highgate Veterinary Clinic in 1999.

I enjoy working with all animals and most weeks involve a wide range of small and large animal work. I enjoy the challenge and variety provided by our out-of-hours work, and take a particular interest in herd and flock health planning for our beef and sheep farmers.

I am currently Studying for a General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Medicine, and will take the exam in September 2009

I am married to a farmer (I should have known better as I was also brought up on a farm!) and have two young children. As you may appreciate, I have little time for hobbies. I do however try to play an active role on the family farm and enjoy gardening and buying/restoring antiques.
