Having joined Highgate Veterinary
Clinic in January 2004, I am now beginning to put names to faces
of regular clients and their pets.
I am a qualified veterinary nurse but have swapped
the hands on role behind scenes to the front desk to provide help
and support direct to pet owners and farm clients.
I also help the other nurses with nurse appointments
including dental checks, flea checks and general health checks.
Our Puppy Encounters, an evening of fun and socialisation
for puppies who have just completed their vaccination course is
proving very popular too. I am particularly interested in behaviour
and am able to offer first step advice for some behaviour
problems.
Independently of the practice I run the Good
Start Puppy and Dog Training Classes. These classes
teach canine good manners in a fun and relaxed way to help pet dogs
become good companions, fit in with family life and be well behaved
in public.
At home I have two long suffering dogs that have had
the various nursing, behaviour and training techniques practised
on them.
I forward to meeting and speaking to you at reception.
