I qualified as
a veterinary nurse in 1999 after training in South Yorkshire,
and joined Highgate Veterinary Clinic in 2004. I provide
help and support direct to pet owners and farm clients
from the front desk and help the other nurses with nurse
appointments including dental checks, flea checks and
general health checks.
I am particularly interested in animal behaviour and
am able to offer first step advice on behaviour
problems. I also run our popular Puppy
Encounter evenings of fun and socialisation
for young puppies.
Independently of the practice I run the Good
Start Puppy and Dog Training Classes. These
classes teach canine good manners in a fun and relaxed
way, to help pet dogs become good companions that fit
in with family life and are well behaved in public.
At home I have two long suffering dogs that have had
the various nursing, behaviour and training techniques
practised on them.
