VETAID KILIMANJARO CHALLENGE 2006. REPORT.

Page 5 : Fundraising success!

All of this continuing work requires significant funding and 11% of Vetaid’s total expenditure of £1.37 million comes from donations/fundraising - such as our Kilimanjaro challenge - as opposed to EU or Lottery grants.

I expect to have raised over £6,000 by the time all monies are collected at the end of March.

Before we left for Africa the group total was over £80,000, in financial terms alone a great success but as you can see from the foregoing description, very much more.

THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH for the wonderful response to Vetaid’s challenge . It is one that we can be justly proud of, and it is all being put to very good use in some situations of dire need.
