Our Vet, Nick Gray, set off to Tanzania on 17th
February 2006 to trek up Africas highest mountain, Mount
Kilimanjaro, to raise funds for the small Scottish based charity
Vetaid.

Stunning
mountain scenery Our attempt on the summit required 6 days
on the mountain and we wound our way up, day by day, through

summit attempt. After a just a few hours sleep we left our
beds at midnight and climbed for 6hrs by torchlight to the crater

Stimulating
project visit. After Kilimanjaro we moved on to the remote
Maasai steppe of the Simanjaro district where Vetaid is working
with the Maasai people over an area the size of Wales.... >>
